The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

The Good
This year has been the best year at school so far. Because of everything I have done:
1.Winter Tournament       2. Frank Van Kampen      3. Touch      4. Basket Ball
5.Run Jump Throw           6. Cross Country             7. Otago Problem Solving
8. Mediator                        9. Road Patrol                 10. Dance Slash
11.Tournament Of The Minds, and all the other fun things I did.

The Bad
Test are always the worst you have to remember everything about anything. But I am very happy with how well i did in all of the tests so far.
Sport, I hate how some of the sporting activities were canceled because of the weather or that no one wanted to do it. Annoying!
Extra things, all the extra thing that put my hand up for made me lose lunch times in term 3 I had:
Monday               Tuesday      Wednesday       Thursday                             Friday
Dance Splash     Mediator      Dance Splash    Tournament of the Minds   Dance Splash
Crazy!
The Ugly
When you broke your leg it was soooo annoying because the reliever was very mean and she changed all the furniture around and was telling people off 24/7.

The Digital Class
I have loved being in the digital class it has been the greatest year so far. I can now I can type really fast and touch type most letters, which will be useful for taking notes next year at college. I can use Google Drive and have most of my work saved there. I am glad I have had this opportunity and it has been great.

Over-all

After being at Primary School for eight years this year has been the best and I would like to thank all the Friends for making my time at school easy and can’t wait to see you all next year.

If you joined the circus, who would you like to be?  What act would you do? Why?

I wake up to the sound of a beeping alarm I roll over and turn it off. I know that I have to get up now for the first practise of several today. I get up, get change and help myself to some breakfast. I race down the hallway to get to the practise on time.

As you may have guessed I’m part of a circus.

I am still unsure about the reason why I joined the circus I think it was because I saw the amazing circus ads on TV. All the swinging Trapeze artists and the man who stuck his head into a lions mouth, and I thought I could do that! But unfortunately I was only able to do three or four flips and be the youngest trampoline artist ever!

I thought that I would be able to do schoolwork such as the basic Math, Reading and Writing but because of ‘Show Business’ I can’t, So now I’m as dumb as a doorknob! Can’t read or write but my english is algoods.

Now Back to the Question:
If you joined the circus, who would you like to be?  What act would you do? Why?
Well I have joined the circus and I would always have chosen to be the trampoline artist who does somersaults, hand springs and all that stuff. Wowing the crowd with my surprising routine and I love this, wouldn’t change a thing.

If I could be a sandwich what would I be and why?

If I could be any sandwich I would be a fruit salad sandwich.

WHY:
Because it is something that most people don’t have everyday meaning I’m different and I like being different because if everyone was the same no one would stand out in the crowd.
Plus this sandwich is something you can make at home if you have bread and any type of fruit.

Why everyone likes it:
I think everyone likes it because they can make it their own you can make it different every time you try it.

Why you might not like it:
Well, I have not tried this sandwich and it does sound kind of disgusting. But I think that you need to have something different in a while if you stick to the boring marmite for too long you’ll go old and boring.

So The sandwich that I would be is a Fruit Salad Sandwich Because I like being a crazy, silly, funny person so I think that this is definitely the perfect sandwich for me. I think being a sandwich is a crazy thing to write about but that is the sandwich I would be.

Core Dynamics:

Core Dynamics:

What was my first results:
My first results were what I expected:
  • 20 Hanging Knee Lifts
  • 11 Press Ups
  • Level 6.7 beep test
  • 2.45 vertical jump
  • 2.49 Standing Broad Jump
  • 12&¼ , 12 minute run
  • A surprising 1 pull up

What was the hardest:
The hardest one for me was the Pull-ups because I only did 1 which I was quite surprised because I did 11 Push-ups so I thought that I would be a bit better.

What was the Best:
The one that I was best at was the Beep Test because I did better than about ¾ of the people doing it and I was very happy with that result. But the one I thought was the best as in fun was the 12 minute run I did about 1 lap every minutes and I sprinted in the last 15 seconds completing 12&¼ laps. Which I was very proud of.

I think that it is very good that we are doing Core Dynamics in class time because I think it helps me concentrate even harder, which helps me learn more. It will help me get even fitter which will help in basketball and touch.

The End.

The most difficult thing about being me ( my age)
1. Home work - I know I'm at primary school and some people will think I'm crazy to say that I think there is lots of homework it is possible that I don’t really have great time management so I'm doing a lot at the last minute! I will try and work on this if I want to have a good job!

2. Friends and bullies - At school there are lots of groups and you will be judged if you hung out with people in a different group to yours and these people are the bullies, people who judge you by your clothes, hair and friends. Now onto the friends sometimes you and your best friend will have fights so your friends change every now and again. I feel pretty safe with all the friends I have right now.

3. Going to college  - Next year all the year 8’s ,including me, are going off to college so there is all this drama about what college everyone is going to, and what subjects you will be taking. I found it hard to choose because my older brother goes to one college and all my friends were going to the other college so I had a hard decision but I’ve finally decided to go with all of my friends.

And that is the most difficult things in my life.

If I was a superhero what powers would I have?

Able to change peoples mind - If I was a superhero I would be able to change peoples minds Because If there was a bad guy I would be able to change his mind so he would be a goody.

Able to Fly - If I was a superhero I would have lots of powers but my favourite one would to be able to fly First because I could fly for fun and second I could get to the crime scene a lot faster than taking the bus or taxi or just walking and Third I would be like superman!

Lift objects - Like Matilda I wish I was able to lift objects so I could confuse the bad guys!

Indestructible- Imagine being indestructible like B.O.B of Monster VS Aliens it would be amazing because you would be able to beat up the bad guys with out getting a scratch but unlike him I would have A brain!

Invisibility- I know I kind of getting Greedy with all these powers but this is my last one I would Be INVISIBLE. Do you know why? Because I could sneak up one the evil masterminds and beat them up without them seeing me.

If I had these powers I think I would be the hardest Superhero to defeat Which means I would be The Greatest of all time!!!

Why can’t we have no homework…

At school we have a Bronze, Silver, Gold and Pounamu homework challenge, but I think this is not necessary. My brother is at college now and he said that it did not prepare him for it. He said there is more homework and it is much more then writing up what you have been doing.

I have done the bronze in year 5, silver in year 6, gold in year 7 and i started to do pounamu in year 8 and I could easily  finish it, but there are other things I would rather do, than to sit at a computer and say how I gave food to the Food Bank. I mean how can teachers read all this boring stuff???

My teacher Gives us all our work to do by the end of the term in the first week so we end up doing some of it at home so we now have to finish work for school and do homework at the same time that could be very confusing!!!

In the end I think that this is not a really good way to prepare children who are going off to college in the next couple of years, either give them proper home work or none at all!!!

What have I done this term???

Spelling
This term we had to do 60 spelling word and I have already finished them It was not that hard because we have done it before!

Tech
In technology I am in sewing, last time I was in metalwork and I have not got my fruit bowl back yet! In sewing we are making a swimming bag with a zip.

Harold The Giraffe
At primary school a big bus comes to your school and in it is Harold and Paula. Paula is the person who does all the talking, Harrold is the giraffe!!! This year with Harold we are learning about Puberty, I haven’t learnt a lot because we covered most of it in health classes.

Winter Sport
This year for winter sport I am doing soccer and like last year I am going to show the boys that girls are much better than them!!! Last year the school team came 4th out of a lot of schools!!!

Mediator
Now that I have been doing mediator  for a while it kind of seems a bit boring the same thing happens every time either you get no problems or you get one that always seems to happen.
